December 12
Today we discussed Rube Goldberg machines. Mr. Goldberg created the Mouse Trap game Emily got for Christmas.

In studying Mr. Goldberg's machines, we explored simple machines that use gear and pulley systems.

December 13
Our class has to build a Rube Goldberg machine that will feed our class pet. We separated into small groups to work on different parts of the machine. On Friday, we have to present our machine to a panel of judges.
